Where Diamonds Come From
It's hard to believe that that beautiful, brilliant stone in your ring was once sitting
in the earth, isn't it?
But it was and there's quite a few diamonds still there in fact about 120 million carats of diamonds are mined each year.
There

Moissanite Jewelry, An Affordable Alternative to Diamonds
Fifty thousand years ago, a meteorite landed in the Arizona desert. It wasn't until 1893 that scientist Dr. Henri Moissan (who later became a Nobel Prize winner) discovered particles of a new mineral, silicon carbide, which was taken from the meteorite's crater (it was later named moissanite in his honor). Moissanite is a unique jewel with exceptional brilliance and fire that delivers quality, beauty and value like no other gemstone and is an affordable alternative to diamonds. Smart, self-confident, fashionable women all over the world are rewarding themselves for their achievements, both personal and professional, with beautiful Charles...
